- I was an adult critical care nurse for the last few years. I left the profession to be a SAHM to two wonderful boys. I grew up in Chicago. I have also lived in Dayton, OH...Cincinnati, OH...and now live in Costa Mesa, CA. I am a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I have an awesome family, a wonderful husband, twin boys, and two cats and a dog...they're my furry kids. After reading so many stories about the awesome things moms and kids do, I thought "yea, but no one posts about all the crap that goes on. Why don't I throw myself out there and do it." If you read my older posts, they were just a way to communicate with my family.
